There is a place deep in our hearts
That knows no pain or fear
Troubles may come, troubles may go
This dwelling place stays clear
Of filthiness and awkward pose
Of all that is confused
Oh, and this place is secretly
Our home where we are fused
With Him who’ll meet in privacy
When time and place are right
While our longing to be one
Will be His own delight…
Love flows into our hearts so deep
From liquid light’s supply
Sometimes it makes us want to weep
We tremble with a sigh
The power of His love is great
Greater than man’s device
It melts the hardest human heart
And makes the foolish wise
When God unites two hearts as one
His Love between them grows
He is their source of all that’s good
And out from them life flows…
Thank you for writing this poem with me, Michael! It was a joy to put our puzzle pieces together! 🙂
It was a joy to watch God’s inspiration flow between us once again. You are so welcome, my friend. 🐻

Yes, it was an awesome experience and a surprise for me as I had written only three stanzas and then all inspiration was gone. 😛 It seems God wanted you and me to write only half of it since 3 + 3 = 6. 😉
I am happy to see our first joint poem published, Michael! 🙂

This is the first time that Susanne Schuberth and I have been inspired to write a poem together. What a blessing.

Thanks, Susanne. It seems that most of what God gives me to share is for a very small minority, not for the masses on the internet. Only the Wind knows what I will publish and when, as you well know from your own walk. Thanks for your encouragement, though. 🐻

You’re welcome, Michael. Just follow His wind and you cannot go wrong. The proper people will hear the message God wants to be heard. 🐱
