Those who are aliens here on earth
Endure tormenting pangs of birth
They make the call to share their pains
Alas, the whore is bound in chains
She’s looking for applause of crowds
The prophets though are His ‘all-outs’

They call the stout to leave the wall
So they can hear the desert’s call
That calls for you and me, my friend
To leave that church which is a blend
Of truth and lies we might not see
And if we stay, we won’t get free

The Law of Christ that could be heard
Upon that mountain through His word
Was authorized by God Himself
To not be put on a mere shelf

Although it was addressed at first
To those disciples who of thirst
Were dying to know more of Life
Which our Lord gave to His wife

Just wait, I’ll tell you what I mean
By these few words you now have seen
His wife, His bride, yes, she is one
With Jesus Christ, with God, His Son

There is a church that is unseen
It has no building, pew or screen
To display things of churchly life
Instead, this church is called His wife

You join that church by entering
Into Christ through surrendering
All that you have and what you are
To Jesus who’s the Morning Star

He’ll strip your self off from the heart
And nakedness will be the start
Of fellowship you didn’t know
As long as you sat in a row
