Once upon a time there was a King who had a Son
And His beloved Son withal was His only one
They erst lived far away in a realm of only day

Where Light is, Love and everything
Of which no human could have dreamed
Delight and bliss, no dark shade there

But one day they said, “We will share
Our divine life with man on earth
Through incarnation and new birth.”

In Your Arms…

There is a land not known before
Where surging billows touch the shore
Not loud and mighty as you’d think
But soft and slightly on the brink

Of a new life you could not see
As long as you swam in the sea
Of trouble, trial, and distress
You thought that life was all a mess

But suddenly and unforeseen
There is the King who calls His Queen
To leave the troubled sea behind
And enter rest that’s God-designed

The Mystery of God’s Love

Divine Dust Disclosed (Photo by Susanne Schuberth)

Divine Dust Disclosed (Photo by Susanne Schuberth)

You took the soul and said to her,
“My love, do come, and let me stir
Your heart and all that slept so long
Under a veil that seemed so strong

As if there was no final goal
For which I made you and your soul”
Intrigued by You and Your sweet voice
The longing soul knows there’s no choice

The Beauty Within

Beyond Imagination (Picture taken from http://rap.genius.com/Outkast-slum-beautiful-lyrics)

Beyond Imagination (Picture taken from http://rap.genius.com/Outkast-slum-beautiful-lyrics)

When the day turns to night
And I’m losing all sight
I do know what will be
And what I then may see

Through that dimly lit glass
There shines beauty first-class
As He opens the gate
To our eternal fate

Men were as sheep who’d gone astray
All residents were on that way
Which seemed so easy, was so bright
As if God’s Heaven poured its light

Onto the earth from high above
But no – the dark or parts thereof
Created something similar
That birthed the hellish minister

The Prophet’s Call

Cumulus Clouds (Photo by Paul Schuberth)

Cumulus Clouds (Photo by Paul Schuberth)

Those who are aliens here on earth
Endure tormenting pangs of birth
They make the call to share their pains
Alas, the whore is bound in chains
She’s looking for applause of crowds
The prophets though are His ‘all-outs’

They call the stout to leave the wall
So they can hear the desert’s call
That calls for you and me, my friend
To leave that church which is a blend
Of truth and lies we might not see
And if we stay, we won’t get free

The Blessed Ones

Corn Flower and Honey Bee (Photo by Susanne Schuberth)

The Law of Christ that could be heard
Upon that mountain through His word
Was authorized by God Himself
To not be put on a mere shelf

Although it was addressed at first
To those disciples who of thirst
Were dying to know more of Life
Which our Lord gave to His wife

Just wait, I’ll tell you what I mean
By these few words you now have seen
His wife, His bride, yes, she is one
With Jesus Christ, with God, His Son
